Would it be possible to get more detailed information on companies? Thinks like what materials you need for production of each type, where to get blueprints, etc. For example, to make machines, the help only says you need blueprints and machines, but I am sure that you need something else too (Steel?)

Are there any more recent versions of these Excel files? I remember that the parts and production time numbers were changed for weapons recently, but I am not sure if anything was changed for any of the other items.
Currently I am trying to get a handle on the actual production costs of the various raw materials so that I can figure out whether it is worth it or not to build the appropriate machines and harvest them from cities. However, I am not certain about whether the stated production times in v4 of these files are still correct.

No, you do not need another workplace or machine as long as you have a headquarter in the other city. In the game, setting up a headquarter in a city outside the capital is much like being able to make an exact copy of everything that the company has and can do in the capital city and then "plopping it down" (placing it) in the city where you have purchased the new headquarter. So if you go to Braga the machine will still work, you will be able to access the same materials that have been inserted into the company, and you can also sell the same products on the market in Braga as you can in Lisboa. If you want to post a workplace in Braga, you can just go to Companies >> Workplaces >> Modify and you will see a drop-down menu beside the "Country:" line that will allow you to select the city where you want to post the workplace. You will be able to select Braga (or any other city where you have a headquarter for the company) from this menu.
