Just an idea for a thread where we discuss market pricing with the goal of helping the UK total economy. An example
Karlonia and I discussed via messaging a standard price for Iron of 1.2 GBP this would give iron producers and of course players collecting iron from fights a profit while helping to keep the costs of steel down for other products. Of course along the way our newest Steel mill was trying to bring the iron standard price upto 1.68, looking at the iron market for Romania, the most populous country in game, 1.5GBP may be just about the highest price for regular sales. Much higher then that and sales would fall. Of course at this time Karlonia hasn't been brought into the discussion of the higher price so we'll see if iron prices continue to be above 1.2 GBP
Iron - 1.5 GBP
Wood - 1.5 GBP
Grain - 0.75 GBP

I suppose a price of around 1.5 GBP would not be all that bad, and would give newbies who are getting iron from drops a bit more of a profit than at the 1.2 price. Currently I do not have an iron machine but am still producing steel, so it is in my interest to have lower iron prices in order to keep my costs down. However, at some point my company should have enough funds to acquire the iron machine, after which I can begin producing iron myself. At that point, somewhat higher iron prices would not hurt me too much because I could sell any surplus iron that was not being used to make steel.

Hello Everyone,
I am the main supplier of Iron in United Kingdoms I spoke briefly to the OP (Opening Poster) and discussed what the market price should be (Quite frankly as the main supplier I have all the supply and demand; therefore its up to me) I have thought over this and offered alternatives.
I am selling Iron on the marketplace at 1.50 GBP / EA as previously suggested, however I have set up a thread in our forum (UK) offer a bulk order service. If you meet the bulk order requirements you are able to purchase Iron at 1.25 GBP / EA I have posted the link below.
http://forum.goldenbattles.com/forum/posts/list/96.page - Iron Steel Co Bulk Orders.
I think because the game is very early on, we all need to work together in building a sustainable environment.

So now lets discuss the price of grain in our great country Andoversr seems to be the major buyer of grain currently and pays less then 1 GBP I therefore think 0.75 GBP should be just about right for the sale of Grain

grain production cost for me is 1.1 GBP each last I checked, but with work pricing varying .75 is reasonable and I will certainly buy anything at or under that price so GBFarm doesnt need to worry about producing grain and can instead focus on flour and malt.

YEP this is the main reason I wanted to start this thread so that we as a whole can work towards a sustainable environment while being sure that all our UK companies are profitable

Part of running a major business (as we all do) is keeping finances (expenses mainly) in check, for this reason I propose the major companies have a maximum GBP wage per hour that we all agree to not go above.
This way, if we have all agreed we will all still get workers and keep our expenses down, I propose a number arround 6.6 - 7 GBP

this might actually be a idea for a proposal in the House of Commons, that way then it is agreed by the country.
However I would ask you hold this off until April since the minimum wage could change based on what happens with the April budget proposal.

I am thinking about what the price of weapon keymats should be on the market in Romania the cost hovers around 28 GBP. So I originally thought to keep UK competitive on weapon pricing 15GBP would be decent. However until further discussion is had here I plan to sell my weapon keymats at 5GBP. Actually I have to return to capitol sooner then expected so will recalculate but still keeping my price as cheap as possible.

I will gladly buy the pistol keymats (and maybe a few of the others as well) at 5 GBP to keep my weapons production going. Keep them coming.
