This would be a revamp idea for armor/equipment
Change the durability so each fight doesnt drain it, instead damage does
so for I grade 1 durability = 100 absorbed damage (H could double this to 200) (the numbers ofc can be tweaked to 1 Durability = whatever)
So instead of 200 durability it can take 2000 damage from each piece, so with x5 pieces you can absorb 10,000 damage before they break.
The 50% mechanic would stay intact (up to 50% would be absorbed by Armor/equip, the rest is taken as damage)
As you mentioned in chat you could upgrade armor to be able to absorb PP damage as well.
