Currently I see we have all taxes set to 0.01 or 0.1 gold. But different goods have different value. For some 0.01 gold is more than their worth, ie paper or iron.
Taxes should be based on goods value. Export taxes should be minimal - exporting goods improve value of our currency.

I propose following:
Export tax - base 5% of product value. If there is something we really need it can be suggested to increase it, so there is barrier in exporting that.
Import tax - base 20% of product value. Importing makes our currency weaker.
Import tax - food, drink, transport - 10%. For products our country companies cannot produce it should be lower, so market is fully supplied.

Voting Breakdown:

Netvalar: 3
Karlonia: 2
Lancelor: 2
Aran: 1
Noeyedeer: 1

would you take the time to actually calculate every single one and tell me what to set it to?

Otherwise thats a crapload of work and would require alot of maintaince to calculate that several times a month and adjust accordingly since market price of items can flucuate.

I like the idea but the implementation is too difficult and time consuming.

If it gets accepted I will make list. Its actually not that hard, at market you can choose currency to be displayed in gold - then you just take % from displayed value.

Aran that is a good job and fair prices. I think 15% is ok too,
With this fair system, players will also have the opportunity to purchase products at fair prices in the UK. I will run here and Shaoko no bidding war or Presidumping and want to have a fair chance. Furthermore, the products will be not so overpriced from Andover trade on the market. Everyone here wants to win and that's fine, but not exploits of your players. This will go along with that for a while and then just leave the country.

UK should need anything, you can talk to me!

I see GB starts losing money because of that high taxes to some goods. Its cheaper for people to use transport - which is very expensive - and buy items abroad than import it with trade company.

I suggest we start voting on that proposal.
I vote YES.

its not half.. lets look at the LQ Pistol..

1.08 import tax, at 70 GBP per gold is 75.6 , The market for LQ I grade pistols is about 320 to 350 GBP, so realistically your looking about at 20% which is correct, I know from Karlonia its around 240 to make a pistol I grade LQ, so importers can only expect 10 to 50 gbp profit wereas local producers can get full profitability

1,08 import tax is ok, but you put
import tax weapon I grade / I Weapon / 2.1640 Gold

Have u make a mistake?

Now i must pay 2.1640 Gold per import!

But it is Ok. A weapon from romania cost 3,7 Gold + 1,08 Gold and with all cost and no win cost a LQ Wepaon 369 GBP.
It is to expensive.

Hello,
i have calculated and i find out, that 20% import is to expensive. When i want trade in UK or other land, than have a product these cost:

1. Producing Win: A company produce and want a win from 5 - 10%.
2. Sale Taxes: 5-15% from Product
3. Export Taxes 5% -10%
4. Import Taxes in UK 20%
5. Sale Taxes ind UK 5%
6. My win 5-10%
7. Cost for the import 2 -5%
8. Cost for the export 2-5%

The product must i offer in UK market with the low taxes for over 49% from the base cost.
I think nobody want import with UK.

I think you should make low Import cost and higher sale taxes. That is better for the country and for the people in UK.
