How to sell anything in this game? If I go to market and choose want to sell it seems like I can't sell anything unless there is a company that buys it or if I own one that produces the desired product. Is that right?

Hi But how to does it work exactly. We have to select a buyer and sell it to him. How to put your offer there if there is no buyer?

To sell items (as an individual, not a company):

Go to Possessions >> Inventory, then choose the category on the left sidebar that corresponds to the item you are trying to sell. Usually this will be "Materials" (for iron, wood, etc.) but you can also sell other things like weapons or clothing. After clicking on the category, find the line to the right that lists your desired item and click on it (the line should change from a white background to a light beige color when selected). Then look toward the bottom of the page and click the "Sell" button. After clicking "Sell", you should see a "For sale offer" window pop up. This will allow you to fill in the quantity and price information for your item. After you have filled in the correct information, click "Ok" to post the sell offer.

There are two things you need to be aware of when posting sell offers this way:

1. You will need a license that matches the category of the item you are trying to sell before the game will allow you to post your offer. There are material licenses, weapon licenses, and the like for the various categories of items. Each license lasts for one week, and it is possible to buy multiple licenses to extend the time that they remain valid. If you are a beginner and happen to be in the UK, there is a trade company called the British East India Trade Company (GBEITC, owner Karlonia) that will often sell material licenses to you for a negligible cost (1 GBP or similar).

2. After posting your sell offer, there is a possibility that your item will be automatically sold. If this happens the sale will occur almost immediately and you will see a message appear notifying you of the sale. This is known as the "auto sell" feature and may be triggered if another player has an outstanding buy offer that is equal to or exceeds the amount of your sell offer. Otherwise your offer will be posted normally and will remain open until a buyer accepts it. If a buyer does not take your offer during the time that your license is valid but tries to accept the offer afterward, the buyer will get a "seller does not have a license to sell this item" message and will be unable to buy the item. Meanwhile, you as a seller will receive an Alert notification (link will appear beside the red exclamation point in the upper right of the screen) that will tell you that your license has expired.

If you find this method of selling items rather tedious and cumbersome, you may consider creating a company. Companies can sell any items that are listed as "Products" for that particular company and can buy any goods that are considered "Materials" for the company without the need to obtain a license. Trade companies are a special kind of company that can sell ALL items on the local market without a license, and can even print licenses to sell to individuals. They also have the unique ability to buy from and sell items to other countries (international trade, also known as importing and exporting). The main drawback to trade companies is their initial creation cost, which is typically 5 Euro. Other companies usually cost between 1 and 3 Euros to start, depending on the type of company.
